Crafts are not the only thing to look forward to as India prepares to celebrate the festival of Ashura on April 11.
A day-long festival, the festival will be attended by the country’s traditional craftsmen, the oldest community in the world, who are traditionally responsible for shaping the countrys traditional art and crafts.
They are renowned for their skill and craftsmanship and are considered the main craft industry in the country.
The celebrations are planned to draw people from all walks of life.
