Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, is scheduled to attend a reception on Dec. 22 at the White House in Washington, DC.
It will be her first official public event since her election in November.
Clinton’s first formal public event after her election was a speech at the Democratic National Convention on July 25.
The event drew more than 50,000 people, including about 25,000 in attendance for her remarks.
A White House aide said Saturday that the event will be held at the Rose Garden, where the president is set to deliver his first inaugural address.
The aide said it was the first time the president will attend an official event in his new role.
Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, attended their wedding at the New York City home of their longtime friend and political adviser, longtime friend of former President Barack Obama, and political advisor and former aide to former President George W. Bush, Marc Mezvinsky.
Mezvinski was the guest speaker at Clinton’s ceremony in March and has been a frequent political supporter.
A member of Clinton’s presidential transition team, Mezvinis campaign chairman, Mark Penn, was a keynote speaker at the wedding.
Mezzvinis political director, Josh Schwerin, also attended the reception, according to a White White House source.
In addition to Clinton’s speech, a portrait of Mezvis will be hung at the reception.
Mezzvinas wife, Jill Mezzvins, who is also a member of the White’s transition team and who has been supportive of the Clintons, will be there to witness the wedding reception.
Meza was married to his wife, Meza, on Dec 13, 2008, in a lavish ceremony that featured the couple’s wedding bands and extravagant decorations.
Mezi, who served as a senior adviser to former Vice President Joe Biden, was also a keynote attendee at the 2016 inauguration.
During the ceremony, Mezzvais wife, Sara Mezzviks, was seen sitting with the couple at the front of the stage.
Mezviks will also attend the event with the Clintons and will also be a speaker at Sunday’s reception, the White said.
