The new menu for a restaurant serving Christmas-themed meals at home is shaping up to be a hit with diners who want to have their Christmas dinner in style.
(AP Photo/Paul Sakuma, File) A restaurant in South San Francisco’s Castro District will offer a menu of seasonal dishes, including a Christmas-inspired “kitchen” of turkey, roast beef, turkey-and-gravy stuffing, Christmas crackers and a turkey stuffing-wrapped stuffing stick.
The menu is part of a new collaboration between San Francisco restaurant craft outlet Craft Brews and San Francisco-based restaurant chef Paul Sakuma.
The collaboration will offer diners the opportunity to order a Christmas menu and to create their own menu at home.
“We’re hoping to get this on our customers’ radar so they’re not missing out on the holiday meal, so to speak,” said Sami Tariq, the founder of Craft Brew, which has locations in the Mission and the Castro.
Customers will choose from seasonal menu items such as roast beef stuffed with stuffing, turkey stuffing, crackers, stuffing sticks and other holiday treats.
For dessert, diners will get their choice of cookies and caramel cornbread or a Christmas dessert.
A $40 gift card will be available to customers who order their Thanksgiving meal on Dec. 24, and a $60 gift card for the Christmas meal will be given out Dec. 31.
Customer service and service standards for the restaurant are not yet set.
The restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
